FAQs
What are Bashtags made with?
Bashtags are made with acrylic with an epoxy resin coating on the surface. Epoxy resin is commonly applied on surfboards and skateboards to produce battle-ready protection for intricate graphics. Given its enhanced resistance to water, scratches and wear-and-tear, Bashtags are suitable for both outdoor and indoor pets.
Are Bashtags chew-proof?
Bashtags are lightweight, durable and water-resistant. However, please keep in mind that they are not indestructible and they are not chew-proof. If your pet loves chewing (especially puppies), it’s recommended you move the tag to a harness or a collar reserved for special occasions.

I purchased my first Bashtag in December 2019 and have not purchased any other brand of tags since. I have multiple options and colors for both of our dogs (all are still in great condition), Mirabella and Nova. They are rowdy blue heelers that often wrestle with other dogs (that are usually much larger than them) and they have not been gentle on their tags through the many adventures, playdates, and forced baths. The tags hold up amazingly to wear and tear of daily use and are rugged enough for multi-dog households and dogs that always find themselves in trouble or getting into something. They are easy to clean and unclip from the collars when needed. I highly recommend and will be purchasing more in the future!

I love these tags - they’re the perfect size so people can see my dog’s name without getting too close. The designs are also very unique and people always ask me where I get them from! Quality is top notch, too. I’ve been using mine for upwards of two years and we have a very active lifestyle of hiking and camping - yet not a single tag has broken, fallen off, or worn out. In fact, I struggle to see any scratches on the tag at all and they’re super easy to clean. I replace harnesses, leashes and collars all the time but I never once had to replace my Bashtags.
